You should be able to see and control what Sol remembers.

This Privacy Policy explains how NextGenEdu, Inc. ("NextGenEdu," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Sol app, the Sol AI companion, and our marketing website (the "Service"). It applies to consumers in the United States.

By using the Service, you agree to this Policy, which works together with our Terms of Service.

• Account information, such as name or nickname, email, age or date of birth, and consent records.
• Your reflections and conversations, including what you share with Sol, your responses, prompts, and the Conviction, Clarity, Alignment, and Resilience indicators generated for you. Because this can reveal personal and identity-related detail, we treat it as sensitive information.
• Usage and device data, such as app activity, device and browser type, standard logs, website cookies, and analytics.
• If you opt in to notifications, a browser push endpoint, encryption keys, delivery status, timezone, and reminder preferences. Notification previews never contain your reflection or conversation text.
• Payment information handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

We do not use your reflections or conversations to train third-party or publicly available AI models.

• To provide, personalize, and maintain the Service.
• To keep users safe and enforce our Terms and Safety Protocol.
• To improve the Service and develop new features.
• To communicate with you about the Service.
• To comply with law.

Sol generates responses using third-party AI model providers. Your inputs are sent to those providers solely to operate the Service, under contractual confidentiality, security, and data-use restrictions.

We also use service providers for hosting, analytics, payments, and standards-based browser push delivery. These providers may process information only on our instructions and for the purposes we specify.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

• Business-transfer parties in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.

Our marketing website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser, and we honor recognized opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control where required by law.

• The Service is only for people aged 18 or older. Parent or guardian permission does not make a person under 18 eligible.
• If we learn that an ineligible person used the Service, we will block access and handle the information as required by law. Contact heysol@heysol.app with an age-eligibility concern.

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access and obtain a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete your information, opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and limit the use of sensitive personal information.

To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact heysol@heysol.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Raw conversation content is retained for no more than 14 days before it is redacted. Structured summaries and memory may remain until you reset Sol memory or delete your account.

Feedback, consent history, analytics, audit records, and de-identified deletion receipts may follow different retention periods where needed for security, legal compliance, or product accountability. The in-app controls explain what each deletion action includes.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of incidents as required by law.

We collect the categories described above for the purposes described above, share them as described above, and retain them as described above. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The Service is intended for users in the United States and is not directed to individuals in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions. If that changes, this Policy will be updated to reflect the additional requirements that apply.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email.
